some people eat to live, food just is the necessary caloric energy that sustains their body. but for me, i live to eat. i exist hungry. it’s one of the perks of my job that at the middle-to-end of a long day i sit down to some amazing chow.
i had been looking forward to jeremy and yuliya’s wedding for months, secretly dubbing it: The One With The Awesome Food. jeremy is an incredible chef who runs his own business providing extraordinary dining experiences to exclusive clientele around the world. not only that, but their ceremony took place at his mother’s farm swissland cheese in the midlands, whose happy little goats produce some award winning cheeses. guests were treated to wine and cheese as they arrived before converging on the scenic lawns for an intimate ceremony. as for the evening meal, i was not disappointed. jeremy’s chef whipped up some truly creative combinations of ingredients i could barely pronounce. everyone was floored by plate after plate of artistry that was served.
i love how food brings people together, and how great food imparts a sense of celebration to any occasion. and i love how a great meal can revive me after a day of chasing light and dodging goats.
